Most baths these days are constructed from both acrylic and steel and are available in a range shapes and sizes. The bath panels are normally made from plastic and are light and very easy to cut and fit into various installations. Whilst size 1700 x 700 mm is the most common used, it is possible to purchase a huge range of different sizes. Lots of manufacturers supply acrylic and steel baths with double curved ends. Their back panels are normally supplied in plastic to finish the front and the ends. Some bespoke manufacturers provide highly decorated steel panels for baths.Shower-Baths:These baths provide conventional bathing with the added facility of an over the bath fitted shower. The end of the bath with the shower normally has a bulge or widening to create a space for someone to shower. These baths are available in left or right-handed options to fit most bathroom layouts.Tapered:These are designed for bathrooms when space is at a premium and are made wider at one end. Often a shower is fitted at the wider end, they are also available in a range of colours and sizes. These baths are supplied with matching side panels.Corner:As their name implies these are installed in the corner of a bathroom, normally both sides being of equal size. The front panels are normally made out of plastic and they come in various designs, which, like a standard bath, can be easily cut and trimmed to fit specific spaces. This can optimize room for bathing, but occupy less of the available room space. They will fit into either left or right hand corners of a bathroom, as is required by the homeowner.
